About Kastoria Skatepark
Kastoria Skatepark is located in the Chloe area of Kastoria, a stunning lakeside city in West Macedonia built on a peninsula jutting into Lake Orestiada. Built in 2016, the park serves one of Greece's most scenically situated cities. Kastoria is famous for its fur trade heritage, its dozens of Byzantine churches, and the prehistoric lake dwellings (Dispilio) nearby. The park has standard street features - ledges, flat bars, banks, and quarterpipes. The lake setting makes Kastoria one of Greece's most atmospheric cities, with mist rolling off the water in the mornings and the mountains reflected in the calm surface. The climate is firmly continental with real winters, and the city is known for being one of the coldest in Greece. Summer skating here is especially pleasant compared to the scorching southern cities.
