About Gerakas Skatepark
Gerakas Skatepark is located at Ethnikis Antistaseos 118 in Gerakas, an eastern suburb of Athens near the foot of Mount Hymettus. Built in 2016, the park has a nice combination of street features and a small flow section. The street side has ledges, flat bars, a manual pad, and a euro gap that skaters like to session, while the flow section has banks and quarterpipes that connect smoothly. It's a medium-sized park that doesn't overwhelm you but has enough variety to keep sessions interesting. The Gerakas area is quieter and more suburban than central Athens, so the park has a relaxed, neighborhood feel. There's a sports complex nearby and some cafes along the main road. The concrete surface is in good shape and the features are well-built. It's become a reliable go-to for skaters on the east side of Athens who don't want to deal with the traffic heading into the city center.
