About Gazi Skate Park
Gazi Skate Park is located at Technopolis, the former gasworks-turned-cultural-center in the Gazi neighborhood of Athens, one of the city's trendiest nightlife and arts districts. Built in 2014, the skatepark sits within the industrial heritage complex, surrounded by brick smokestacks and converted factory buildings that host concerts, exhibitions, and events. The park itself has a street-oriented layout with ledges, flat bars, banks, and some quarterpipe transitions. The industrial backdrop gives sessions a unique atmosphere you won't find at typical suburban parks. Gazi comes alive at night, and the park benefits from the area's energy - there are restaurants, bars, and clubs all around. The Kerameikos metro station is right there, making it one of the most accessible skateparks in Athens by public transport. The surface is smooth and the features are well-maintained given its central location and heavy use.
