About Corinth Skatepark
Corinth Skatepark is located on Damaskinou street in modern Corinth, a city at the narrow isthmus connecting the Peloponnese to mainland Greece. Built in 2015, the park has street features including ledges, flat bars, and banks in an outdoor setting. The ancient Corinth ruins and the famous Corinth Canal are both nearby, giving the area an incredible historical backdrop. The canal, a narrow cut through solid rock connecting the Aegean and Ionian seas, is one of engineering's great feats. The modern city is smaller and quieter than its ancient glory days suggest, and the skatepark serves as a community gathering spot for local youth.
