About Nokia Skatepark
Nokia Skatepark is on Hinttalankatu in Nokia, the city that gave the famous telecommunications company its name - Nokia Corporation was originally founded as a pulp mill in this town in 1865 before evolving into the mobile phone giant. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Nokia sits at the confluence of the Nokianvirta rapids between lakes Pyhรคjรคrvi and Kulovesi, and the waterway scenery is pleasant. Despite the global fame of its name, the city itself is a modest Tampere-region community with basic services and a relaxed atmosphere.
