About Lohja Skatepark
Lohja Skatepark is on Runokatu in Lohja, a town set on the shores of Lake Lohjanjärvi in the Uusimaa region west of Helsinki. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Lohja is known for its apple orchards - the microclimate around Lake Lohjanjärvi supports fruit growing, and the Apple Carnival in October celebrates the harvest. The medieval Lohja Church has remarkable ceiling paintings from the 1400s depicting biblical scenes. The Tytyri Mine Museum lets visitors descend into an operating limestone mine. There are restaurants and shops in the center, and Helsinki is about an hour away. A charming lakeside small town.
