About Halkokari Skatepark
Halkokari Skatepark is in the Halkokari beach and recreation area of Kokkola, right on the Gulf of Bothnia coast. The park has ledges, flat bars, banks, and a quarterpipe. Halkokari is Kokkola's main beach area with sandy shores, camping facilities, and a summer atmosphere. The Baltic Sea here is shallow and warms up nicely in summer - Finns flock to the beach from June through August. The park serves as a complement to the main Kokkola skatepark and benefits from the beach-going traffic. There's a kiosk for ice cream and snacks in summer, and the coastal walking paths are pleasant. Combined beach and skate days work perfectly here.
