About Otepää Skatepark
Otepää's skatepark serves Estonia's 'Winter Capital' - this small southern Estonian town is the country's premier ski and winter sports center, hosting World Cup cross-country skiing events on the surrounding Otepää Upland hills. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. The Otepää hills, among the highest terrain in the Baltics, are draped in forest and dotted with lakes. The Estonian flag was first consecrated here in 1884, at the Estonian Students' Society meeting in the Otepää church. The park draws summer riders from the sports community. The food is sporty Estonian - energy food, grilled meats, and the hearty fare of a winter sports town.
