About Vltavská Underground
Built under a highway overpass near Vltavská metro station in Praha 7, this covered outdoor skatepark takes advantage of Prague's urban infrastructure in the most creative way. The park features a smooth concrete surface with ledges, manual pads, flat rails, and small quarter pipes, all protected from rain by the road above. The industrial-chic setting - concrete pillars, highway rumble overhead, graffiti-covered walls - gives it an authentic street skating atmosphere that purpose-built parks rarely achieve. Being right at a metro station makes it one of Prague's most accessible parks, and the Holešovice neighborhood surrounding it is one of the city's trendiest, with galleries, cafes, and the famous Prague Market nearby. Riders can skate here year-round thanks to the overhead cover, making it especially popular during Prague's wet autumn months.
