In the Jeseníky Mountains of northern Moravia, Velké Losiny combines thermal spa traditions and Renaissance architecture with a modern skatepark. The park features a mini ramp, quarter pipes, ledges, and a flat rail. The town is famous for its spa (one of Czechia's best), its Renaissance château with stunning sgraffito decoration, and its paper mill - one of the oldest in Central Europe, still producing handmade paper. The mountain setting provides stunning scenery, and the Kouty ski resort nearby makes this a year-round recreation destination. Local riders are few but the tourist traffic brings visiting skaters during holidays. The spa offers perfect post-session recovery, and the château is worth every minute of a visit. It's one of Czechia's most charming small-town skateparks.
