About Skatepark Trutnov
Gateway to the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) - Czechia's highest range - Trutnov's skatepark adds summer skateboarding to a town better known for winter sports. The park features a mini ramp, quarter pipes, ledges, a flat rail, a handrail, and a funbox. The mountains are visible from the park, with Sněžka (Czechia's highest peak at 1,602m) lurking in the background on clear days. Trutnov also hosts the legendary Trutnov Open Air Festival, one of Czechia's longest-running music festivals. Local riders switch between skateboards in summer and snowboards in winter, giving the scene a multi-sport character. The town center has good restaurants and the mountain cuisine features hearty soups and dumplings. The Krkonoše National Park starts practically at the city limits.
