About Skatepark Rakvice
In the wine country of the Pรกlava hills in southern Moravia, tiny Rakvice has a skatepark surrounded by some of Czechia's most productive vineyards. The park features a mini ramp, ledges, a flat rail, and a quarter pipe. The village is known for its wine cellars - practically every family has one - and the autumn wine harvest festivals are major community events. The nearby Pรกlava limestone hills are a nature reserve with Mediterranean-like microclimate, rare plants, and stunning views. Local riders are few, but the park serves visiting families during summer holidays. The village atmosphere is deeply traditional Moravian, with folk customs still practiced.
