About Mystic Sk8 Park Štvanice
One of the oldest and most legendary skateparks in Central Europe, Mystic Sk8 Park on Štvanice Island has been a cornerstone of Czech skateboarding since 1994. The park occupies a covered outdoor space on this Vltava River island in the heart of Prague, offering both indoor and outdoor skating areas with a massive bowl, a street section with ledges, rails, and stairs, plus a mini ramp that's seen three decades of abuse. The covered sections mean you can skate even in Prague's rainy seasons, and the island setting - accessible by bridge from both Praha 7 and Praha 1 - gives it a uniquely isolated urban feel. Generations of Czech skaters have cut their teeth here, and the park has hosted countless competitions and events. The nearby Holešovice neighborhood has excellent restaurants, craft beer bars, and the DOX contemporary art center. This is Czech skateboarding's spiritual home, and every serious rider needs to make the pilgrimage at least once.
