About Harrtown DIY Bowl
In the legendary ski jumping and glass-making town of Harrachov in the Giant Mountains, this DIY bowl was hand-built by local riders with pure passion and concrete. The bowl features organic shapes, hand-finished coping, and the imperfect-but-soulful character that only a community-built project can achieve. Harrachov is famous worldwide for its ski jumping hills and crystal glassworks, so extreme sports are in the town's DNA. The mountain setting is spectacular, with Giant Mountain forests surrounding the town. Skating here in summer while ski jumpers practice on the nearby hills creates a uniquely Czech mountain sports atmosphere. The local glassworks museum and brewery are both worth visiting, and the mountain restaurants serve hearty Krkonošské specialties. It's DIY skateboarding at altitude, built by riders for riders.
