About Zadar Skatepark
Zadar Skatepark is located on Ulica bana Josipa Jelačića in Zadar, a stunning Dalmatian coastal city with 3,000 years of history. Built in 2013, the park has street features with ledges, flat bars, banks, and quarterpipes. Zadar is famous for the Sea Organ (an architectural instrument played by waves) and the Sun Salutation (a solar-powered light installation) on its waterfront - Alfred Hitchcock reportedly called Zadar's sunset the most beautiful in the world. The old town is a peninsula packed with Roman ruins, medieval churches, and lively bars. The skatepark serves a growing scene in a city that's become one of Croatia's top destinations. The Dalmatian climate is ideal for skating most of the year - mild winters and warm (sometimes blazing) summers with sea breezes. The park gets busy during tourist season when visiting skaters passing through stop in for a session.
