About Umag Skatepark
Umag Skatepark is located on Ulica Dante Alighieria in Umag, an Istrian coastal town famous for hosting the ATP Croatia Open tennis tournament. Built in 2015, the park has street features in an outdoor setting near the Adriatic. Umag is right at the tip of the Istrian peninsula near the Italian and Slovenian borders, and the Italian influence is strong - you'll hear Italian spoken alongside Croatian. The old town sits on a small peninsula with Venetian-era buildings, and the surrounding coast has some of Istria's best beaches. Tennis is king here during the tournament, but the skatepark gives local youth and visiting skaters their own space. The Istrian food and wine scene is phenomenal, and the truffle season in autumn brings foodies from across Europe.
