About Špansko Skatepark
Špansko Skatepark is located on Ulica Gustava Krkleca in the Špansko neighborhood, a residential area in western Zagreb. Built in 2012, it's the second major skatepark in the capital and serves the western suburbs. The layout is street-focused with a good selection of ledges, flat bars, banks, and quarterpipes arranged in a flowing layout. It's smaller than Jarun but has its own character - the local crew here is tight-knit and the vibe is more neighborhood-oriented. You won't find the same crowds as Jarun, which some skaters actually prefer. The concrete is decent quality and the features are well-proportioned for intermediate skating. The surrounding area is typical Zagreb suburb - apartment blocks, local shops, and tram connections into the city center. It's a solid option for skaters on the west side who don't want to trek across town to Jarun every session.
