About Petrinja Skatepark
Petrinja Skatepark is located on Ulica Mujezinovića in Petrinja, a small city south of Zagreb on the Petrinjčica River that was devastated by the December 2020 earthquake. Built in 2015, the park has street features in an outdoor setting. The earthquake caused massive destruction to Petrinja's historic center, and the community has been in a long rebuilding process since. The skatepark represents one of the recreational spaces that help maintain community life during recovery. Petrinja was known for its charming Austro-Hungarian architecture and the beautiful Petrinjčica River walk before the quake.
