About Jarun Skatepark
Jarun Skatepark is the main skatepark in Zagreb, Croatia's capital, located along Aleja Matije Ljubeka next to the popular Jarun Lake recreational area. Originally built in 2011 and expanded in 2016, it's the heart of Zagreb's skate scene. The park has a great mix of features - there's a solid bowl section with decent transitions, a street area packed with ledges of varying heights, flat bars, manual pads, and some banks that flow together nicely. The expansion added more street features and improved the overall layout significantly. Jarun Lake is Zagreb's go-to spot for jogging, swimming, and nightlife, so the skatepark sits in a lively environment with bars and cafes along the lakefront. Summer sessions here are amazing - you can skate, then jump in the lake to cool off, then grab a beer at one of the lakeside terraces.
