About Quepos Skatepark
Quepos Skatepark sits right on the Malecón, the historic 1.6-kilometer seawall and waterfront promenade along the Pacific coast in the town of Quepos. Built in 2018 by the Quepos Municipality under Mayor Patricia Bolaños, the park offers a back-and-forth street run with ocean views and sea breezes. The layout features a quarter pipe and banks flanking a central funbox, along with a manual pad, kicker, handrail, gap, and ledge. It has lights for nighttime sessions. Quepos is the gateway town to Manuel Antonio National Park, one of Costa Rica's top tourist destinations, making this a convenient stop for traveling skaters. The nearest other skateparks are over 12 miles away in Parrita, so this is the go-to spot for the local community.
