About Stara Zagora Skate
Stara Zagora's skatepark in the City Garden serves one of Bulgaria's oldest continuously inhabited cities - archaeological evidence shows settlement since the 6th millennium BC, making it among the oldest cities in Europe. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. The city's Roman mosaics, preserved in an underground museum, are among Bulgaria's finest. Stara Zagora was completely burned during the 1877 Russo-Turkish War and rebuilt in a modern grid plan. The park draws riders from the Thracian Valley. The food is Thracian Bulgarian - rose-petal jam from the nearby Valley of the Roses, grilled meats, and fresh yogurt.
