About Kazanluk Skatepark
Kazanluk's skatepark in the Rosarium Park serves the heart of Bulgaria's Valley of the Roses - the world's largest producer of rose oil (attar of roses), harvested during the annual rose-picking festival each June when the valley turns pink. The concrete park features ledges, banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, and flat bars. The Thracian Tomb of Kazanluk, a UNESCO World Heritage site with remarkably preserved 4th-century BC frescoes, makes the town an archaeological treasure. The park draws riders from the Rose Valley. The food is Thracian Valley - rose-petal jam, yogurt, grilled meats, and the distinctive rose-flavored rakia that's the local spirit.
