About Velodroom Skatepark
Velodroom Skatepark is a concrete park in Ostend, Belgium's main seaside resort on the North Sea coast. Built in 2016, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Ostend is the queen of Belgian beach resorts, with a long promenade, the Thermae Palace hotel, and the Mu.ZEE art museum. James Ensor, the expressionist painter, lived and worked here. The North Sea wind is constant. The port connects to England by ferry. After skating you can walk the beach promenade or eat fresh mussels and frites at the fish market.
