About Skatepark Mons
Skatepark Mons is a concrete park at the Grand Large lake area in Mons, the 2015 European Capital of Culture. Built in 2017, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Mons has a beautiful Grand Place with the baroque Belfry and the Collégiale Sainte-Waudru church. The Doudou festival with its dragon combat is UNESCO-listed. The SHAPE NATO headquarters is nearby. After skating you can visit the Van Gogh House where the artist briefly lived, or climb the Belfry for views across Hainaut.
