About Skatepark Luxaplast
Skatepark Luxaplast is a concrete park in Kortrijk, a dynamic Flemish city on the Leie river near the French border. Built in 2018, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Kortrijk has reinvented itself as a design city with the Buda Island creative quarter and Texture museum. The Battle of the Golden Spurs in 1302, when Flemish militias defeated the French knights, took place here and is celebrated as the Flemish national holiday. After skating you can explore the creative Buda Island or the medieval Broel towers.
