About Skatepark Diksmuide
Skatepark Diksmuide is a concrete park in this Yser river town with the IJzertoren peace monument. Built in 2015, the park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes. Diksmuide was devastated during WWI when the Belgians flooded the Yser plain to halt the German advance. The IJzertoren is the tallest peace monument in Europe. The town has been rebuilt. After skating you can visit the IJzertoren for panoramic views over the flat polders.
