About Skatepark Braine-l'Alleud
Skatepark Braine-l'Alleud is a concrete park in this Walloon Brabant town near the Waterloo battlefield. Built in 2016, the park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes. Braine-l'Alleud is right next to the Waterloo battlefield where Napoleon met his final defeat in 1815. The Lion's Mound memorial overlooks the battlefield. The town has grown into a large residential community south of Brussels. After skating you can climb the 226 steps of the Lion's Mound for panoramic views over the historic battlefield.
