About Skatepark Blaarmeersen
Skatepark Blaarmeersen is a modern concrete park at the Blaarmeersen recreation area in Ghent. Built in 2020, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, quarter pipes, and a pump track. The Blaarmeersen is Ghent's premier outdoor recreation area with a lake for swimming and water sports. Ghent's medieval center with the three towers - St. Bavo's, the Belfry, and St. Nicholas - is one of Belgium's most impressive cityscapes. The Gravensteen castle sits on the river. After skating you can swim in the lake or explore the student city's vibrant bar scene along the Patershol.
