About Skatepark Binche
Skatepark Binche is a concrete park in this Hainaut town famous for its UNESCO-listed carnival with the Gilles. Built in 2014, the park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes. Binche's Carnival is one of Europe's oldest and most distinctive, with the Gilles in their wax masks and ostrich feather hats dancing through the medieval streets. The city walls are remarkably well preserved. After skating you can visit the Carnival Museum or, if it's Mardi Gras, watch the Gilles throw blood oranges.
