About Skatepark Bastogne
Skatepark Bastogne is a concrete park in the Ardennes town forever linked to the Battle of the Bulge. Built in 2015, the park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes. Bastogne was besieged during the 1944 Battle of the Bulge when General McAuliffe famously replied 'Nuts!' to the German surrender demand. The Mardasson Memorial and Bastogne War Museum honor the sacrifice. The town sits on the Ardennes plateau. After skating you can visit the star-shaped Mardasson Memorial dedicated to the American soldiers.
