About De Skate K8
De Skate K8 is an indoor skatepark at Fort 3 in Borsbeek, repurposing a historic military fortification. Opened in 2024, the indoor facility features ramps, rails, quarter pipes, a mini ramp, and a bowl. Fort 3 is part of Antwerp's ring of 19th-century fortifications built to defend the city. The conversion of a military fort into a skatepark is creative adaptive reuse. The facility provides year-round skating in a unique setting. Skating inside a historic fortress is an experience you won't find elsewhere.
