About Skatepark Schwaz
Skatepark Schwaz is a concrete park in this historic silver mining town in the Inn Valley. Built in 2012, the park features a bowl, ledges, rails, and quarter pipes. Schwaz was once the second-largest city in the Habsburg Empire thanks to its silver mines, which funded Emperor Maximilian's wars. The Silberbergwerk mine can still be toured. The massive parish church with its copper roof reflects the town's former wealth. After skating you can tour the silver mine tunnels that once made this town richer than most capitals.
