About Skatepark Schruns
Skatepark Schruns is a concrete park in the main town of the Montafon valley in Vorarlberg. Built in 2014, the park features a bowl, ledges, and quarter pipes. Schruns is the center of the Montafon, a valley surrounded by the Silvretta and Rätikon mountain groups. Ernest Hemingway wintered here in the 1920s and wrote about it in A Moveable Feast. The Silvretta-Montafon ski area is extensive. After skating you can hike in the Silvretta or follow in Hemingway's footsteps.
