When OpenStreetMap has a traced outline of the skate surface (the largest skate outline within 150 m of the pin) that area counts; otherwise a size the park itself states in square feet or square metres. When both exist the smaller one counts, because traced outlines often take in the apron and landscaping around the concrete. Acreage claims are ignored because they usually cover the whole city park, not the concrete. Outlines that also cover ball sports, ice or a pool, whole-park outlines and anything over 15,000 square metres are skipped too: they map the complex around the skatepark, not the skatepark. Parks without a usable footprint stay off the list.
