# New Hampshire ranks No. 7 in the nation for public skateparks per resident, Skatedex finds

NASHUA, Sept. 16, 2026 -- New Hampshire has 2.05 public skateparks for every 100,000 residents, ranking No. 7 of 50 states in the 2026 Skateparks per Capita rankings released today by Skatedex, the largest skatepark directory on the web.

The rankings count 29 public, open skateparks in New Hampshire against the Census Bureau's latest population estimate of 1,415,342. That is above the national rate of 0.77 parks per 100,000 residents.

Within the state, Nashua is the only city of 50,000 or more residents with a public skatepark inside its limits.

Neighboring Vermont, the highest-ranked state next door, is No. 3 with 3.26 parks per 100,000 residents.
